Beverly community steps up to help victims of abuse
Each year, more than 1,000 local residents depend on the Beverly Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit for lifesaving services to help them overcome domestic violence, stalking and sexual assault. But when the funds for those services began to run low several months ago, the unit looked to the Beverly community to help keep the program alive.
